Journo harassed by Antifa calls on Trump to deploy Natl Guard outside Portland ICE facility

A reporter who was harassed by militant Antifa thugs called for President Donald J. Trump to deploy the National Guard to protect the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) facility in Portland as soon as possible.

Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial has been covering the ongoing protests in the Rose City, the once-pristine jewel of the Pacific Northwest that has been overrun by illegal aliens, vagrants and drug addicts, and has for years been an operating base for the black-clad militant extremists who are allowed to operate with impunity by state and local Democrat leadership.

In the course of doing her job, she has been repeatedly menaced by the Democratic Party’s shock troops with videos of the confrontations being posted to social media, where the masked left-wing goons profanely berate and threaten her.

Daviscourt has been covering the far-left mob for over two months despite being harassed, threatened, and assaulted by masked militants.

On Friday, Daviscourt shared a video to X showing the latest incident and pleading with Trump to send in the troops, who have already been deployed to the streets of crime-ridden Washington, D.C., with great results.

The Trump administration needs to deploy the National Guard to the ICE facility in Portland asap.

A perimeter around the area needs to be established, with check points, curfews, and all.

“The Trump administration needs to deploy the National Guard to the ICE facility in Portland asap,” she began. “A perimeter around the area needs to be established, with check points, curfews, and all.”

“Antifa has become emboldened, knowing that Portland Police will not respond following a judge’s recent ruling, deciding that they do not have to enforce laws at the 24-hour ICE occupation, which has been going on for more than 75 days,” Daviscourt continued.

“I briefly walked by the ICE facility to see if the illegal encampment had been swept and was immediately approached by this black clad Antifa TERRORIST, who threatened to kick my ass on federal property (I was on the phone at the time so didn’t record the threat),” she wrote. As I made my escape, she yelled, ‘People like you shouldn’t ever feel safe.’”

“It’s imperative for truthful journalists to report on the occupation because local/legacy media does not report the truth about what has been happening at ICE, particularly violence against local residents and federal police officers,” she added, noting that the mainstream press continues to turn a blind eye to the leftist thuggery in Portland.

“I’ve been out here for over 2 months and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to report without being harassed, threatened, and assaulted — So this is a call for all journalists who work for independent news outlets to make their way to the Portland ICE facility and help out,” she concluded.

“I normally would not make a request such as this but Antifa’s escalation against reporters and community members is extremely concerning, and I fear they will kill someone,” Daviscourt said in another post.

Earlier in the day on the other side of the country, Trump told reporters that the National Guard could soon be sent to other Democrat-controlled cities to protect law-abiding citizens from the criminals who have been permitted to run rampant by elected leaders.

Chicago and New York are likely going to be next on the list, although there are serious issues elsewhere. The president’s son, Donald J. Trump Jr., described Portland and Seattle as “crapholes” that need to be cleaned up during an appearance on Newsmax TV.

“Maybe we should roll out the tour to Portland, Seattle, you know, the other what we call craphole cities of the country—not because they’re crapholes, but because Democrats made them so,” Trump said.

“Terrorists!!!!!!!!” Daviscourt wrote in response to the video of her being harassed, branding the Antifa thugs as what they are.
