I’ve said it multiple times, and I’ll say it again: Donald Trump is the greatest sports president of all-time.
Just look at how busy 45/47 has been with Major League Baseball in the last year.
Prior to winning the election in Oct. 2024, Trump dished out his opinion that the legendary Pete Rose should be forgiven over his past gambling and put into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. And back in July, he gave himself credit for the Boston Red Sox winning 10 games in a row, and I believe him! (LMAO)
Well, the best POTUS this land has ever seen is back at it again! (RELATED: White Sox Honor Pope Leo XIV By Marking His 2005 World Series Seat With Plaque)
Trump and baseball icon Roger Clemens played golf together Saturday, with Roger’s son Kacy also joining in on the fun. Following the round, the president wrote on social media that the pitcher needs to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame.
“Roger Clemens was easily one of the few Greatest Pitchers of All Time, winning 354 Games, the Cy Young Award seven times (A Record, by a lot!), and played in six World Series, winning two!” wrote Trump. ” … He should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame, NOW! People think he took drugs, but nothing was proven. He never tested positive, and Roger, from the very beginning, totally denies it. He was just as great before those erroneous charges were leveled at him.”
Clemens took to Twitter to thank Trump for “the love,” posting a screenshot of his post from Truth Social.
Wonderful time yesterday at Trump National DC with @POTUS and my son Kacy. @KClemens21
I appreciate the love! DT knows more than anyone the fake news that’s out there. Everyone has their agendas… I played the game to change my family’s direction generationally and to WIN! pic.twitter.com/1GaAVaU6a3
