Trump threatens ‘Sloppy Chris Christie’ with Bridgegate probe

President Donald Trump is threatening to take a deeper look into “Bridgegate” and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough isn’t happy.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie blasted the FBI raid on ex-National Security Advisor John Bolton to ABC’s Jonathan Karl, claiming the president “sees himself as the person who gets to decide everything, and he doesn’t care about any separation.”

“In fact, he absolutely rejects the idea that there should be separation between criminal investigations and the politically elected leader of the United States,” Christie added.

Hours later, Trump launched a Truth Social post, tearing into the “sloppy” former governor and recalling the events of “Bridgegate,” implying an investigation may be needed to get to the bottom of what happened.

“I just watched Sloppy Chris Christie be interviewed on a ratings challenged ‘News’ Show, ‘This Week With George Slopadopolus,’ on ABC Fake News (By the way, what the ‘hell’ happened to Jonathan Karl’s hair? He looks absolutely terrible! It’s amazing what bad ratings, on a failed television show that was forced to pay me $16,000,000, can do to one’s appearance!). Can anyone believe anything that Sloppy Chris says?” the president wrote. “Do you remember the way he lied about the dangerous and deadly closure of the George Washington Bridge in order to stay out of prison, at the same time sacrificing people who worked for him, including a young mother, who spent years trying to fight off the vicious charges against her. Chris refused to take responsibility for these criminal acts. For the sake of JUSTICE, perhaps we should start looking at that very serious situation again? NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.”

This upset Scarborough, who implied that Democrats may “continue this cycle” when they are elected in the future.

“You just sit and wonder,” Scarborough said. “The people that are sitting in the administration right now, making these moves, do they not understand that what goes around comes around? If they were so shocked and stunned and deeply saddened by what happened over the last four years, they’re doing it this four years. What do they think is going to happen when Democrats get back into power?! Do we really want this cycle to continue?!”

Hilariously, Joe Scarborough and “The Morning Joe” crew on MSNBC/MS NOW are worried about political payback after John Bolton’s home was raided.

Yes. Political payback would be bad.

“Democrats — let me just assure everybody right now — they will get back into power!” the host said later. “Our independents will get into power! And people that are doing this right now will leave office with a cloud over their head wondering what happens next! Now, let’s stop this madness!”
