Bengals’ PJ Jules Gives Glory To God For Making Roster In Heartwarming Post

We all like to get caught up in drama and gossip, but let’s not forget stories like these.

When it comes to roster cutdown day in the National Football League, most people have their eyes on the players who didn’t make their respective teams. However, we need to remember that this is also a special day for players who did make a roster, and more importantly, saw their dreams become a reality. That’s exactly what happened with Cincinnati Bengals safety PJ Jules.

For the whole 2024 campaign, Jules was a member of Cincinnati‘s practice squad following the franchise inking him to a deal while he was an undrafted free agent. Playing college football at Southern Illinois, Jules had a stellar campaign in 2023 that saw him become a first-team FCS All-American. Unfortunately though, he wasn’t able to make the cut on any active NFL roster in 2024. (RELATED: Ben DiNucci Has Unbelievably Glorious Reaction To Getting Cut For Whopping Seventh Time)

But things are different here in 2025. Per a social media announcement from Jules himself, he gave confirmation that he landed a spot on the Bengals roster, and not just that, but he gloriously thanked God for it. To make his post that much sweeter, he also had a message for his late father.

“I made the team, I’m active. Thank you Lord for the opportunity,” tweeted Jules. “I miss you soo much Dad. Wish you was here to see me, You believed in me. I know you watching. I do this for you, from nothing to something. This just beginning of something great.”

Glory to God! Amen.
