Florida Panthers’ Evan Rodrigues Takes Stanley Cup Trophy To Disney World

And let the celebrations continue! Go Cats!

Usually when you think about championship trophies and Disney World, the Lombardi Trophy visiting the “Most Magical Place on Earth” comes to mind, especially when every Super Bowl winning-quarterback yells “I’m going to Disney World!” after reigning victorious in the game.

But the Florida Panthers, in all their glory, are looking to add to that tradition courtesy of their center Evan Rodrigues. The 32-year-old took the Stanley Cup trophy to Mickey Mouse’s empire while on its annual summer tour. The Cats posted photos of Rodrigues’ family trip to Orlando.

Rodrigues has had an opportunity to spend a day with the Stanley Cup for two straights summers now, and with how magnificent Florida was over the offseason keeping all three UFA free agents Sam Bennett, Brad Marchand and Aaron Ekblad, Rodrigues might get a third summer in a row in 2026.

It’s going to be an interesting fall for me, for sure, as a South Florida sports fan.

Both the Panthers and Miami Hurricanes football have extraordinarily high expectations, my Dolphins are kind of in limbo right now because it’s hard to tell how exactly they’ll be this season, and with the Heat … well … who cares because I have zero expectations for them.

But with the Panthers in particular … I’m not gonna lie, I’m already planning another parade.
