Obama, Holder play race card in fundraising ad for Dem gerrymandering

Barack Obama is meddling in our politics again, this time weighing in on redistricting efforts that prove to be disadvantageous to his party.

The king of hypocrisy takes no issue with gerrymandered districts that ensure Democrat success, yet he’s aghast over the pursuit of common-sense districts that don’t resemble a salamander dragon. Keep in mind, these districts are often drawn along racial lines.

“Republicans are trying to redraw congressional district lines to keep their grip on Congress in the midterms and beyond. Voters should pick their politicians, not the other way around,” the former president said on X, while calling for people to help Democrats “fight back.”

Obama and his one-time wingman, former Attorney General Eric Holder, are featured in a video fundraising for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC). As expected, the former president plays the race card while opposing redistricting efforts in Texas and Florida — as Breitbart News pointed out, the organization they’re raising money for says in its IRS filings that its mission is to “favorably position Democrats for the redistricting process.”

When Democrats choose to “fight back,” you can be sure their quest for power is at stake, be it opposing the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, ending the use of fraud-friendly vote-by-mail, or, in this case, removing race from the equation when drawing up congressional districts.

As for gerrymandering, social media users noted that there are a scary number of states that have ZERO Republican seats.
