Absurd! Jessica Tarlov offers farcical reason on why ICE agents are wearing masks

We’ve seen this game before, where the actions of those on the left are all but certain to lead to violence — and when it does, they will feign innocence over the consequences of their actions.

Jessica Tarlov, the liberal installation at “The Five,” was the latest voice on the left targeting ICE agents tasked with upholding U.S. immigration law, claiming that these officers wear masks because they are embarrassed about deporting illegal immigrants who have no right to be in our country.

“They should be ashamed of what they’re doing,” Tarlov added.

She was regurgitating media lies about who is being deported, as Democrats continue their all-in effort to protect illegal immigrants while pushing the financial burden of caring for them onto U.S. taxpayers.

The effort centers on demonizing ICE agents, as seen earlier this week from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Comparing them to KGB agents, the Democratic leader vowed to identify “every single one of them.”

“This is America. This is not the Soviet Union,” Jeffries said at a press briefing on Tuesday, “We’re not behind the Iron Curtain. This is not the 1930s. And every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified.”

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu went a step further to compare ICE agents to members of a neo-Nazi group.

“I don’t know of any police department that routinely wears masks,” Wu said on Wednesday. “NSC-131 routinely wears masks.”

When asked if she was comparing ICE to a neo-Nazi group, Wu said, “What I said is that Boston police, and no police department that I know of at the local level routinely wears masks.”

The irresponsible attack prompted a reply from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which is under the direction of Secretary Kristi Noem.

“Mayor Wu comparing ICE agents to neo-Nazis is SICKENING,” DHS posted on X. “When our heroic law enforcement officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement while wearing masks to protect themselves from being targeted by known and suspected gang members, murders, and rapists. Attacks and demonization of our brave law enforcement is WRONG. ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults.”

Border Czar Tom Homan explained to Glenn Beck why the agents are forced to wear masks.

The Democrat effort is resulting in agents being physically confronted, as seen recently in Minneapolis — an incident that was based on misleading information being pushed by elected officials, according to Fox News:

Agents were also attacked recently in San Diego. It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured here — or worse:
