Actress Molly Ringwald Claims Trump Supporters Will Be Found Guilty Of Treason

Actress Molly Ringwald shared a video across her social media channels January 28 lashing out against America and venting about her disdain for Trump supporters and ICE.

She delivered a grim warning to Americans about the current political climate, and sternly cautioned Trump supporters that their judgement day would come. The actress suggested Trump supporters would be found guilty of treason when he is no longer in power.  She spoke of the death of Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis before launching her attack.

“I feel like I can’t stay silent and neither should you,” Ringwald said.

“There’s something horrible, horrible going on in our country right now. And we have one of the greatest countries — had one of the greatest countries in the world.”

The actress addressed her fand and followers and said, “We are human beings, and we cannot forget our humanity, but right now this is a fascist government.”

She asserted, “Right now this is a fascist government. It’s not becoming a fascist government. It is a fascist government. And ICE is brutalizing people.”

Ringwald urged her fans to put their personal political perspectives aside and evaluate the country as a whole.

“I don’t care how you identify, if you’re a Democrat, if you’re a Republican, if you’re independent, if you don’t like to be political at all — it doesn’t matter – you have to look at what kind of country you want to live in,” she said in the video.

She told fans she lived in France in her youth and experienced the aftermath of World War II.

“They were taken over by the Nazis. … And a lot of people collaborated,” she said.

“And then there were people who did not collaborate, and were part of the resistance. Eventually they got their country back, and those people, who collaborated, were found to be criminal.”

She cautioned that this is “what’s going to happen” to Americans who do not speak out against what’s unfolding in their country right now.

“We are human beings, and we cannot forget our humanity, but if you don’t care about that, if you only care about yourself, then realize you are going to be seen as a collaborationist, OK?” she said, darting her eyes from side to side.

Ringwald said she didn’t think anybody “wants to be on the wrong side of history.”

“So, please, please use your voice and protest,” she urged.

“These are children who are being taken away from their parents. These are mothers who are being killed. These are fathers, these are ICU nurses, these are people that are good people,” she said.
