Whatever reputation James Comey still had, it has now been obliterated.
In a video posted Sunday on social media, the disgraced former FBI director confessed his love for Taylor Swift and her music, and explained how she helps him be a strong, anti-Trump resistance fighter. (Subscribe to MR. RIGHT, a free weekly newsletter about modern masculinity)

NEW: Former FBI Director and ‘Swiftie’ James Comey releases a 5-minute video talking about how Taylor Swift inspires him and how she helps him deal with Trump.
“At my second Taylor Swift concert in Hartford, CT, 14 years ago, she sang a song about this topic, asking…”

“I am not an advocate for weakness. Of course, we need to stand up to jerks and defend what matters, but I think we have to try to do that without becoming like them, which is what makes me think about Taylor Swift,” Comey said. “She’s made clear that she sees Donald Trump for what he is. Last year, she urged Americans not to make the serious mistake of electing him. Of course, we’re now living with the consequences of that mistake. But while our elderly makeup-covered president is posting about whether Taylor Swift is still hot and declaring that he can’t stand her, what’s she doing? Living her best life, producing great music, and, as she urged all of us to do during the podcast, not giving the jerks power over her mind.”
Comey may soon face an indictment for his involvement in the Russiagate Hoax against Donald Trump, but he should also have to answer for this abomination of a video.
The former FBI director is no stranger to cringe. Gushing over Taylor Swift, though, takes the cake. (RELATED: Why Does Comey Keep Playing With Seashells To Express His Political Views?)
Men, if you like Taylor Swift, just keep it to yourself. When it comes to Swift, it’s a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. If you love her music, still maintain a cool indifference toward her, both in public and private. Don’t catch yourself reciting lyrics when your girlfriend or wive plays her music at home or in the car. Certainly don’t be James Comey and post about it on social media.
