Teachers in Tennessee proved that technology can be used for good with a touching video that’s going viral for all the right reasons.
“Graduates from McCallie School, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, sat down to answer questions from … themselves,” Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg reported.
A group of graduating boys were asked to answer questions from themselves in a video taken when they were in sixth grade.
Brilliant, fascinating, and heartwarming at the same time!

The video amassed over 37 million views on TikTok, according to Rugg, and was widely celebrated on X:
totally going to do this with the family this weekend!
do one for major life events – graduations.
do one for the year – as a record of goals
do one for big life events – marriage, first child, grandchild.Make it into a family album of memories. Absolute fantastic idea!

The 6th-grade self of this guy cracked me up.
His modern self was very wise. pic.twitter.com/ZItNd2awdx

“Try your hardest no matter what.” Wise, indeed.
This is amazing.
Reminds me of my Horace Mann School back in the day (since turned coed).“The McCallie School is an all-boys prep school in Chattanooga, grades 6-12, emphasizing academic rigor, character development, and the preparation of boys to become leaders.”
It worked.

Amazing! The luckiest school is Yale-don’t change who you are kid going to Yale. Bama and all the others are getting leaders-the best of the best. But Yale is the luckiest because that kid doesn’t fit the woke narrative. Make your mark and keep going!

If this isnt a brilliant add for a high school then I dont know what is! This American school certainly turns out educated, smart sensible young men. Well done!

Oh man. My son is exactly doing the same. His teachers in 6th grade made the students fill out a questionnaire. He got it back last week. I cannot help but cry. This is so sweet. Congratulations to all the High Schoolers graduating in 2025.

These are some impressive young men. Very poignant in that I have a granddaughter graduating HS tomorrow. I sent this to her and asked her what she thought her sixth-grade self would have asked her.
