‘An Honor’: Royals’ Bobby Witt Jr. Reveals What Playing For Team USA Means To Him

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Back in 2023, Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. represented the United States of America in the World Baseball Classic, with the Americans almost winning the tournament ultimately suffering defeat against Japan.

It doesn’t matter if it’s baseball, basketball, hockey and soon to be football (at least flag football), there’s just something about that “U-S-A” and red, white and blue that hits you when you see it in athletic action.

The only change that I would make to our Team USA programs is our pre-event attire. You know how in the Olympics when Ralph Lauren designs the United States clothing for the Parade of Nations and it usually pops with swagger like Ralph normally does?

We need to get Ralph to do that for all of our sports teams. I want our guys to look good while winning championships.
