A newly released video appears to show “Bachelorette” star Taylor Frankie Paul violently attacking her ex, Dakota Mortensen.
Paul pleaded guilty to aggravated assault following the 2023 incident.
TMZ released the video, which appeared to show Mortensen struggling to record the ordeal while Paul seemingly repeatedly attacked him, at one point tossing metal barstools at him.
Paul appeared to lunge at Mortensen several times, attempting to kick him.
“Your daughter is sitting right there!” he shouted as she tossed barstools. At one point in the clip, her child began crying. The child was on a nearby couch, according to TMZ.
Police later reported the 5-year-old girl suffered a “goose egg on her head,” according to TMZ.

A neighbor heard the noise and phoned police to visit the scene of the 2023 incident.
During the fight, Paul shouted, “you threw me” at Mortensen. She told police he had tossed her to the ground before he began recording their interaction, according to TMZ.
Police officers saw the video, and prosecutors used the footage in their case against Paul, the outlet reported.

Paul, former star of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Lives,” was placed on three years’ probation, which ends in August 2026. Prosecutors dropped four other charges — including domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse and criminal mischief — as part of a plea deal, according to TMZ.
An investigation by the Utah Division of Children and Family Services is open, and both Paul and Mortensen have reportedly been ordered to undergo psych evaluations.

Paul’s representative pushed back against Mortensen in a statement to TMZ.
“It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child. Releasing an old and selectively edited video on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior,” the representative stated. Filming for “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has been halted as a result of the drama surrounding Paul.
ABC has canceled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette,” citing the 2023 video.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” ABC told Page Six.
