Biden’s NIH used taxpayer funds to implant aborted human fetus parts into animals

Efforts to clear out the “mad scientists” enabled by President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci continued with exposure of taxpayer funded “sickening animal experiments” with aborted babies.

Time and again, actions taken under the Biden administration proved to be efforts to undo President Donald Trump’s mission to drain the swamp. This included work against a 2019 ban, as 17 grants amounting to roughly $22 million in funding had been advanced by Biden’s National Institutes of Health toward experimenting on animals with aborted human tissue.

“For years, White Coat Waste has been fighting to ensure taxpayers aren’t forced to foot the bill for nightmarish NIH experiments that crudely implant fingers, scalps, and other human fetus parts into animals,” expressed White Coat Waste Project (WCW) founder Anthony Bellotti in a statement. “Thanks to our newest investigation exposing active Biden-era funding for these sickening animal experiments–and to swift action from the Trump administration–they won’t be.”

As the money was directed toward domestic and international labs for studies in fiscal year 2024, Bellotti went on, “The solution to NIH’s wasteful and stomach-churning animal labs is simple: Stop the money. Stop the madness.”

After WCW had exposed the grants, the NIH had responded with a statement to Breitbart News explaining, “NIH takes this issue very seriously and remains committed to the highest ethical standards in research. The referenced grants, initiated under the Biden administration, will not be renewed.”

“NIH is guided by a commitment to valuing human life and ensuring that federally funded research is conducted responsibly and transparently. We are actively reviewing these matters and will take all necessary steps to ensure our policies reflect that commitment.”

Under the Trump-appointed NIH Director, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, “NIH is guided by a commitment to valuing human life and ensuring that federally funded research is conducted responsibly and transparently. We are actively reviewing these matters and will take all necessary steps to ensure our policies reflect that commitment.”

While it had been further explained that the Trump ban did not stop existing projects, many of the projects funded through 2026 were said to have been approved by Fauci before he retired from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 2022.

The decision to put an end to such research was met with the typical pushback from those looking to maintain the status quo of ends justifying the means, including the International Society for Stem Cell Research’s (ISSCR) President Hideyuki Okano had said in a statement that human fetal tissue research “has been a cornerstone of biomedical progress since the 1930s” and has been “an invaluable tool for advancing our understanding of human development, infertility, and diseases like diabetes, Zika virus, HIV, and neurodegenerative disorders.”

He also credited the tissue for contributing to vaccine development related to polio, rubella, measles, chickenpox, shingles, rabies, and COVID. “This critical work is governed by a robust ethical and legal framework that ensures responsible research conduct and pubic accountability,” Okano claimed.

Countering the narrative, Arizona Rep. Eli Crane (R), who’d previously called out Fauci’s funding for such experiments as part of efforts to manufacture “humanized” animals during a February House Oversight Committee hearing, reacted on X by stating, “We can’t allow degenerate mad scientists to engage in this immoral behavior. Thank you to @WhiteCoatWaste for exposing these horrific experiments.”
