Big Names Raised Big Money For LA Fire Victims — Bureaucrats And ‘Justice’ Groups Got It

A freelance journalist discovered Sunday that the $100 million raised by two star-studded charity concerts for January’s Los Angeles fire hasn’t reached the victims.

The concerts, organized by FireAid and featuring Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Green Day and others, drew rave reviews — but months later, fire victims say they’re still waiting for help and demanding to know where the money went, Circling The News’s Susie Pascoe reported. Pascoe, herself a fire victim, uncovered that the Annenberg Foundation, tasked with distributing the funds, has instead funneled the cash into local nonprofits rather than directly to survivors.

Pascoe took aim at several of the nonprofits that received grants, questioning their lofty mission statements and the hefty salaries of their executives.
