Bill Clinton Faced With New Sexual Misconduct Allegation From Inside His Own Team

A former senior military aide to President Bill Clinton has come forward with a previously undisclosed allegation involving a female U.S. Air Force stewardess and an incident that allegedly took place aboard Air Force One.

Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson, who served as the senior military aide responsible for carrying the “nuclear football” during the Clinton administration, shared the account in a post on X.

The incident, he says, occurred while returning from a trip on Air Force One and involved inappropriate conduct by the then-president toward a young female member of the military staff.

“We landed on the South Lawn at about midnight,” Patterson wrote.

“And, after ensuring the president was on his way to his residence upstairs, I headed to my bedroom in the East Wing. Shortly thereafter, my phone rang and it was the AF-1 presidential pilot. ‘Buzz, we have a problem,’ he said.”

Patterson stated that the pilot informed him of an incident in which President Clinton had allegedly “cornered a female AF-1 steward in the galley and molested her.”

The stewardess, a married Air Force staff sergeant with children, was described by Patterson as someone he knew personally and considered “super sweet.”

He recounted the pilot telling him that the woman did not want to come forward publicly.

“He told me that she didn’t want to be another ‘bimbo,’” Patterson wrote, referencing other high-profile allegations that surfaced during Clinton’s presidency.

“She wanted to remain in the Air Force and be promotable. All she wanted was an apology.”

Patterson continued, “In the world of Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and Kathleen Willey, this wasn’t surprising to me. It was, however, terribly disappointing and sad.”

According to Patterson, the following morning, he was tasked with addressing the situation directly with the president.

“As a young major, I had to walk to the Oval Office and tell the commander-in-chief that he needed to apologize to the young lady,” he recalled.

“I’ve been shot at with hot metal, but this was the toughest day in my life.”

Two weeks later, Patterson said he arranged a meeting aboard Air Force One between Clinton and the stewardess.

“We got the two together onboard AF-1 in the president’s office and he offered a very uncontrite ‘half apology,’” Patterson wrote.

“He didn’t care.”

Patterson, who has spoken in the past about his time in the Clinton White House, said the incident exemplified what he called a double standard.

“If anybody in the military had done that, it would’ve been jail, expulsion, or both. It would’ve been Fort Leavenworth,” he said.

“But not for this president, not for this man. It was just another day.”

The allegations add to a list of accusations made against Clinton during and after his presidency, many of which were tied to misconduct involving women.

Patterson’s account, however, is notable due to his close proximity to the president and his role within the administration during the time the incident allegedly occurred.

As of now, there has been no official comment from Bill Clinton or his representatives regarding Patterson’s statement.

The story has reignited questions surrounding the broader handling of misconduct allegations involving powerful figures during the Clinton administration.
