The Buffalo Bills honored conservative activist Charlie Kirk with a video tribute prior to the “Thursday Night Football” game against the Miami Dolphins.
A video that memorialized Kirk was played on the Highmark Stadium jumbotron.
Buffalo is now the 10th team in the National Football League to hold a tribute for Kirk. The Bills now join the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys in doing so. Before the “Thursday Night Football” contest between the Packers and Washington Commanders, a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk was mandated by the NFL. Afterwards, the league let franchises make their own decision regarding whether or not they would honor Kirk.
The following teams did not have a tribute for Kirk prior to their latest home games: Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts.

While speaking at an event Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University, Kirk was assassinated. Tyler Robinson, a native of Utah, was charged in the murder of Kirk.
A resolution was passed by the U.S. Senate to declare Oct. 14, 2025, the birthday of Kirk, as a National Day of Remembrance for the founder of Turning Point USA.
