Bulgarian Spy Cell Members Handed Prison Sentences

Six Bulgarian nationals have been sentenced to jail after being found guilty of spying for Russia, in what police have described as “one of the largest” foreign intelligence operations in the UK. The sentences are:

• Bizer Dzhambazov: 10 years and two months in prison. The ringleader…
• Katrin Ivanova: Nine years and eight months in prison.
• Vanya Gaberova: Six years, eight months, and three weeks in prison.
• Tihomir Ivanchev: Eight years in prison.
• Ivan Stoyanov: Five years and three weeks in prison.
