I’d actually soak this in as a fan, because the sight of it will get rarer and rarer as we go along.
Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark didn’t hit one three-pointer Thursday during her team’s game against the Golden State Valkyries. From the three-point line, Clark put up a 0-for-7 mark, and with the entire Fever offense struggling as well, it ended up costing the team a nice lead in the second half that ultimately led to a 88-77 victory for Golden State.
It was only the third game ever in both her WNBA and NCAA career where she didn’t hit a three-point shot. (RELATED: ‘Bad Look’: Tennis Legend Chris Evert Blasts WNBA For Roughing Up Caitlin Clark)
In terms of drama, something that we got plenty of in Tuesday night’s game between the Fever and Connecticut Sun, the only headline-worthy spice from the Fever-Valkyries game was the latter’s comeback.
There wasn’t any kind of fighting or anything like that, and considering how much the league hates Clark, it’s a bit surprising.
Just like Caitlin‘s terrible performance:

As you see, Caitlin Clark haters are enjoying the bad play, but I’m here to tell you that won’t be happening much with the second-year player. Consider this a rare gem that both haters and fans should enjoy, because as we get closer to her prime, the more rare bad performances like this will become.
A lot of these fools in the WNBA don’t even know what’s going to hit them when Clark hits her prime, but get your laughs in now.
