Carville Cackles About Dems Targeting Trump’s ‘Stupid Jackass Kids And Their Spouses’ After Midterms

Democratic strategist James Carville predicted Tuesday that President Donald Trump would “cut a deal” after Democrats target his children and their spouses following the 2026 midterms.

Multiple congressional Democrats have attempted to push impeachment resolutions since Trump took office for the second time on Jan. 20, 2025, on a variety of issues, including his efforts to crack down on illegal immigration and the June 2025 strike on Iranian nuclear sites. “The Democrats are going to investigate you to no end. I would like to introduce you to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse… because it is a lot of people’s view — by the way, and Congressman Jeffires and Senator Schumer, they’re going to go down to the White House on November 10th, and then you’re going to have some stiff photo of them sitting there talking about collegiality and cooperation,” Carville gloated. “Ha! Believe that bullshit.”

“Then they’re going to start going after you. Then they’re going to start figuring out where all the money stolen is. Then they’re going to go after your stupid jackass kids and their spouses and all the other bullshit that you see, and they’re going to investigate the shit out of you,” Carville continued. “And then when it comes to this stuff you’re doing in Iran, I got to tell you, you’re getting really, really, really close to war crimes here. You’re probably going to cross the line. And the one thing that Democrats are going to insist on in the 2028 election is that if you’re indicted by the international courts in, I think it’s in the Hague or somewhere in the Netherlands, [they’re] not going to protect your ass.”

After his first term, Trump was indicted multiple times, including on business fraud charges by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and for his efforts to challenge the 2020 election results by special counsel Jack Smith and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

“You’re going to cut a deal and you’re going to resign and [Vice President] J.D. [Vance] is going to pardon you. He got to pardon a lot of other people, but he’s a creepy, ambitious little twerp, he’ll do whatever he can to get in the White House,” Carville said. “But they can’t pardon you for state crimes. They can’t pardon you in the International Criminal Court. They can’t pardon you for any of this.”
