Former NBA great Charles Barkley epitomizes America in some ways in that after pursuing just about every possible avenue, wrong as they may be, he eventually gets it right.
And so it is when it comes to biological males competing against females, as Barkley voiced his adamant opposition to any such scenario during a recent appearance on Outkick’s Don’t @ Me with Dan Dakich.
“I’m gonna make this very simple for you, Dan. Men should not play sports against women,” Barkley said. “I’m not gonna get into all the bullsh*t that’s going on out here in the world today.”
“Men should not play sports against women. If anybody thinks that, I think they’re stupid,” he added. “I support the gay community 100%. I support the transgender community 100%. But I do not, under any circumstances, zero, think that men should play sports against women.”

“I’m done. I don’t wanna hear you try to explain it to me.”

To be clear, Sir Charles ended on an emphatic note.
“If anybody has a problem with that, they’re gonna have to get over it because I’m not gonna change. I just think it’s wrong, period,” he said. “If people disagree with me, I’m good with that. Hey, we disagree. I’m not mad at you. I don’t hate you. I’m not going to call you names… but I’m never going to think it’s alright for men to play sports against women.”
“I don’t even think that’s controversial,” he continued. “I don’t wanna hear you try to explain it to me. No, no, no, I don’t wanna hear it. I’m not gonna argue with you. Men shouldn’t play sports against women. I’m done.”
Social media users were cautiously optimistic that common sense just may be making a comeback — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Women have been begging for real men to stand up…

Men should definitely stay out of women’s sports and bathrooms. We women shouldn’t have to feel unsafe just so creepers feel included. Stop with the trans nonsense.

Simple, clearly stated and spoken like an adult. No name calling, no silly slogans. Just the facts as he sees them. I’m not exactly a Team Barkley guy, but credit where it’s due. This was solid.

If there isn’t an equal amount of women breaking into mens sports, there is an inequality here that obviously explains the differences of the sexes and provides all of the reasons not to allow men playing against women…!

Keeping men out of women’s private spaces and off of women’s sports teams and competitions is a bipartisan issue. Don’t let the less than 20% of Americans dictate how to keep our women and girls safe. So no to the freaks!

AMEN brother Barkley…. MORE men need to stand up and proclaim the same. TIME for stupid ideas to go away and REALITY and SCIENCE bolster the truth!!!
