Zack Polanski has been challenged to a long-form debate on economics by one of the libertarian right’s leading UK thinkers. Get the popcorn – unless Zack’s too nervous?
Guido revealed yesterday that Polanski – who bloviates about his willingness to debate his ‘ideas’ – had chickened out of a long debate on the Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett. Who does that…
Christopher Snowdon, Head of Lifestyle Economics at the Institute of Economic Affairs, has formally challenged the Green Party leader to a public debate. Guido agrees to platform this…
Snowdon recently published a blistering excoriation of Polanski’s economic ‘theory’ and now lays down the gauntlet:
“I relish the prospect of debating Mr Polanski’s fantasy economics in a public forum. Will he accept or is he too #rattled?”
He is due to appear on Laura Kuenssberg’s show on Sunday. This doesn’t count because there is zero actual scrutiny of anyone’s ideas on these shows, they are an excuse to spit out political lines…
If Polanski had any confidence in his radical proposals he would debate them instead of running scared. What’s wrong, Zack? Chicken?
