Clowns trot out video, make huge deal over Trump judging prestigious teen modeling contest

Trump Derangement Syndrome found a resurgence with “UNEARTHED” video of the future president judging models, drowning out coverage of a predecessor’s alleged “treason.”

Likely surprising no one, corporate media had yet to have its fill of demonizing President Donald Trump. Despite the chief executive calling for the release of grand jury transcripts to advance transparency regarding the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, MeidasTouch dredged up decades-old footage of the then-businessman at a modeling competition with “participants as young as 14-years-old.”

A clip from the Elite Modeling 1991 Look of the Year contest, that was reposted by MeidasTouch cofounder Ben Meiselas and viewed over 12 million times as of Monday morning, showed Trump at a table with other judges, critiquing models in various outfits under the caption, “UNEARTHED: Donald Trump judges the 1991 Look of the Year modeling competition organized by Elite Model Management, featuring participants as young as 14-years-old.”

While Meiselas’ report rehashed allegations made against the businessman about how he behaved around competitors in pageants he owned, including from the days prior to the 2016 election, the caption also emphasized.

“A 2020 Guardian investigation into Elite’s Look of the Year competition uncovered allegations from former contestants and industry insiders that the competition was used by founder John Casablancas and others to engage in sexual relationships with vulnerable young models, some of whom were teenagers.”

The March 2020 investigation specified, “No such allegations have been levelled against Trump, who at the time was dating Marla Maples, the woman who in 1993 became his second wife.”

Still, the Guardian added, “But his close involvement in the contest raises questions for the president. Did he know that Casablancas and others were sleeping with contestants? Why would a man in his 40s, whose main business was real-estate development, want to host a beauty contest for teenage girls?”

The MeidasTouch report came amid a series of similar corporate media attempts to focus on claims of a more involved connection between the president and Epstein. In addition to the Wall Street Journal publishing an alleged “bawdy” birthday letter to the financier from Trump, prompting a $10 billion defamation lawsuit, CNN had entertained claims from a model who once dated Epstein, who contended, “they were very close and they were up to no good.”

Likewise, The New York Times interviewed Epstein accuser Maria Farmer, who recounted an instance where Trump allegedly made her feel “scared” during an incident that supposedly took place at the financier’s office, which was outright denied by White House Communications Director Steven Cheung. “The president was never in his office. The fact is that the president kicked him out of his club for being a creep.”

Meanwhile, the attention given to revisiting claims made against Trump came as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard had declassified documents that alleged a “treasonous conspiracy” had been perpetrated by President Barack Obama’s administration during the transition to Trump’s first term.

“Their goal was to usurp President Trump and subvert the will of the American people,” contended Gabbard as documents detailed Obama officials halted publication of an intelligence community assessment that squashed the notion of Russian involvement in 2016 election before allegedly following the commander-in-chiefs directive to “create a new intelligence assessment that detailed Russian election meddling, even though it would contradict multiple intelligence assessments.”

Sunday, the DNI went on to tell Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” “The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic.”

“Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected,” said Gabbard who went on to add, “So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”
