CNN cover-up artist Jake Tapper, co-author name names of the ‘politburo’ that hid Joe’s senility

CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson of Axios have been hitting the media circuit to promote their new book on the “cover-up” of former President Joe Biden’s mental unfitness and revealed that a “politburo” of top aides was really running the country.

The authors of “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again” sat down with serial fabulist Jeffrey Goldberg on Friday’s edition of “Washington Week” on PBS where they discussed their book and named names of the unelected people who were calling the shots while propping up the Democrat cadaver as their front man while not completely absolving the former president.

Tapper said, “It’s not Weekend at Bernie’s,” referring to the 1989 comedy movie with a plot about pretending that a dead man is still alive.

The interview with Goldberg, a key figure in the recent “Signalgate” scam, allowed Tapper and Thompson to make the case that they were also duped by Biden’s team, even though nearly the entire mainstream media looked the other way and pretended not to notice the scandal of the century.

Thompson explained, “in terms of who was running the White House, it’s a small group of people that have been around,” referring to the tight-knit inner circle that included Biden’s family members, adding, “Some people within the administration called them the politburo, that’s the term we use in the book.”

When asked who was in the “politburo” by Goldberg, Thompson rattled off a handful of names.

“Mike Donilon, Biden’s longtime political liaison, Steve Ricchetti, who was sort of the legislative liaison, plus like a friend, Bruce Reed, at times, depending on his situation with the Biden people, Ron Klain,” he said.

“And then there are some people outside the politburo that are closer to family, which would be obviously Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, but then Jill’s main chief of staff, Anthony Bernal, and sort of his sort of like deputy in some ways, Annie Tomasini, who is often Biden’s traveling chief of staff,” Thompson told Goldberg.

Tapper chimed in, “And Joe Biden himself also is part of this. Joe Biden is not like, it’s not Weekend at Bernie’s, right? He has some purchase here. He has some agency, and he’s aware of some of what’s going on. He might be in denial about it, but he’s aware of the fact that they are keeping the cabinet away from him, they are keeping some White House staffers away from him, they’re keeping members of Congress away from him. He knows what’s going on.”

It’s notable that the cover-up artists used the word “politburo” to describe the unelected shadow government, a term defined by Meriam-Webster online as “the principal policymaking and executive committee of a Communist party,” especially coming from a pair of apparatchiks from a media that has functioned as a Soviet-style propaganda machine, and did so the duration of the “Biden” regime until party leaders pulled the plug on the geriatric career politician.

Media coverage of Tapper and Thompson’s book was somewhat subdued by the timely surprise announcement by Biden of his alleged – and highly suspect –  sudden diagnosis of prostate cancer on the eve of its official release, but the pair of professional cover-up artists have persisted in promoting it.
