CNN media stooge spins fake Jan. 6 narrative about ‘destroying stores’

A CNN media stooge tried to rewrite the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020 by suggesting right-wing rioters had destroyed stores and glass fronts.

Analyst Sara Fischer made the bizarre claim during a discussion Friday morning on CNN.

The discussion began with CNN host Audie Comish describing the ongoing anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles by left-wing extremists.

“[T]his has been one of the kind of ultimate split-screen stories, where for a lot of people, they may be on their social media seeing, you know, mass ICE, unmarked ICE, you know, detentions,” she said. “They may be thinking they’re seeing something that looks like a protest.”

“And then for someone else, it’s total dissent, it’s escape from L.A., it’s fires and disorder. How are you processing how this is coming across?” she then asked Fischer.

FYI, what’s been happening in LA has been riots, not protests, with left-wing rioters attacking the police, attacking motorists, etc.

Fischer replied by immediately recalling the one-day Jan.6 riot of 2021.

“Sort of the misinformation split screen reminds me a lot of January 6th, when in some cases you had people who said, no, this is Antifa, this is left-wing chaos, and others on the other end were saying, no, no, this is right-wing folks who are seizing the Capitol,” she said.

She had a point here. Some on the right did attempt to blame Antifa for the Jan. 6 riot. In fairness, there was evidence to back up this claim:

The left, meanwhile, has put the onus of Jan. 6 entirely on the right.

Fischer then turned to the 2020 BLM riots that erupted after the death of fentanyl-addicted convict George Floyd in police custody.

“We had a very similar dynamic as well during the George Floyd protests, where it was a question of whether or not this was left-wing Antifa destroying stores, destroying glass fronts, or if it was folks on the right,” she said.

False. An abundance of evidence shows definitely that the BLM riots were committed by left-wing extremists, including those with Antifa and others as well.

There were over 500 riots in the summer of 2020 because of BLM and radical Woke Activists.

The riots were also promoted entirely by the left, including by former Vice President Kamala Harris, who in 2020 endorsed a far-left bail fund for rioters in the Minneapolis area, where a whole police precinct building was torched.

“Cheering protesters torched a Minneapolis police station that the department abandoned as three days of violent protests spread to nearby St. Paul and angry demonstrations flared across the U.S over the death of George Floyd,” Politico reported at the time.

“A police spokesman confirmed … that staff had evacuated the 3rd Precinct station, the focus of many of the protests, ‘in the interest of the safety of our personnel.’ … Livestream video showed the protesters entering the building, where fire alarms blared and sprinklers ran as blazes were set,” the reporting continued.

The violent, deadly riots led to several deaths, in addition to over $2 billion in property damage and the injuring of over 2,000 law enforcement officers.

In America, political violence comes primarily from the left.
