The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) announced the launch of a new smartphone application Tuesday that allows users to report antisemitic incidents anonymously with “just a few clicks.”
The “Report It” app enables individuals to submit reports of incidents such as graffiti, harassment, incitement and violence, according to the CAM’s announcement. The organization can then forward “appropriate” allegations to law enforcement, news outlets and organizations in the community. The CAM said verified reports will undergo assessment before such decisions are made.
The organization claimed antisemitic incidents have surged globally with its Antisemitism Research Center being aware of more than 12,000 incidents in the past five years. Approximately 3.5 million Jewish Americans said they “have personally encountered antisemitism” following the Oct. 7, 2023 attack in Israel, according to a CAM-commissioned survey conducted from August to September 2024.

The CAM estimated that between 50% and 80% of antisemitic incidents go officially unreported. The organization said the “Report It” app is aimed at collecting more information to create a broader picture. “Research and reports have consistently demonstrated that the overwhelming majority of antisemitic incidents are unreported, frequently because of a mistrust of authorities, a lack of awareness of reporting systems, bureaucratic hurdles, and excessive ‘red tape,’” CEO Sacha Roytman of the CAM said. “With ‘Report It,’ we are giving every individual a quick, safe, and effective way to shine a light on hate, hold perpetrators accountable, and drive meaningful change. Together, we can fight back against antisemitism and build safer, stronger communities.”
Users can choose to employ the app anonymously and personal details will remain protected, the organization said.
The organization did not disclose how it will verify reports or what criteria will determine whether they contact authorities.
