As a born-and-raised DMV’er, this really hurts to see.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered an absolutely nasty injury to his left arm at the halfway point of the fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. The Commanders have not yet announced his status following the injury. (RELATED: Brawl Erupts During High School Football Playoff Game Leading To Player Blasting Opponent With His Own Helmet)
During a second-and-goal play on the Seahawks’ 2-yard line, nobody was open for Daniels which triggered him to exit the pocket to the right side. He ended up getting sacked by Seattle linebacker Drake Thomas, and while bracing his fall with his left arm, it twisted and turned in a way that human arms don’t. After the whistle was blown to kill the play, Daniels remained on the ground.

Gruesome looking left arm injury
By video, elbow dislocation

Instantly, Daniels’ arm was put in an air cast before going back to the locker room to get an X-ray.
Daniels finished the game with 153 yards and one interception off 16-of-22 passing. He also rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown off 10 carries.

I think we all have the same question: Why was Jayden Daniels still in the game with just minutes to go and the Commanders getting beaten down by a 38-7 score?
The game was clearly over … needless to say, Washington head coach Dan Quinn has some explaining to do.
