Complaint About Rupert Lowe’s Rape Gangs Fundraiser Immediately Thrown Out By Standards Commissioner
This morning the BBC reported that ex-Reform MP Rupert Lowe was being investigated by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner over “allegedly failing to register money raised in donations to fund his independent ‘Rape Gang Inquiry”. He’s already been cleared…
In a statement on X this afternoon, Lowe said:
“The complaint against me and our Rape Gang Inquiry has been cleared by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. This complaint was a malicious attempt to shut me down and undermine our inquiry. I was informed on Thursday morning that this investigation was happening, and I immediately provided undeniable proof that all was done within the rules.”
Time wasting rubbish…

The complaint against me and our Rape Gang Inquiry has been cleared by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. This complaint was a malicious attempt to shut me down and undermine our inquiry. The complainant, who held the leaked details of the ‘confidential’ investigation, has a clear and evidenced connection to Reform – you can draw your own conclusions about how this information reached the media. I was informed on Thursday morning that this investigation was happening, and I immediately provided undeniable proof that all was done within the rules – the money arrived in the Rape Gang Inquiry account on June 23rd and I have 28 days from that date to register. It is all in hand, and being done entirely correctly. This irrefutable evidence was provided to the parliamentary authorities, I met them yesterday to discuss, yet they still decided to publish. The Commissioner does not publish precise details of the investigation. The BBC was leaked confidential details of the investigation. The BBC published precise details of the leak without giving the inquiry a chance to respond. I will be making a formal complaint to the BBC about the journalists involved, who have been forced to edit the article twice already. It’s a hit job. Another hit job. I do not think that it is a coincidence that this complaint has come just a few days before we are welcoming 40 rape gang survivors to Parliament. We have been in contact with hundreds of survivors. We are giving them a voice. We are uncovering the truth – this evil is absolutely everywhere. It is sick. We will keep fighting for the truth. The political establishment is desperate to smear me, but we will not be stopped.
