Officials from the inquiry have previously dismissed the TPA’s estimates, calling their analysis “flawed” and “hypothetical“. TPA Campaigns Director Elliot Keck is now demanding an apology:
“The TPA deserves an apology from the covid inquiry for the arrogant way they dismissed our forecasts. If anything, we have consistently underestimated the cost of this shambles, with the inquiry only becoming more profligate and spendthrift the longer it has gone on.”
Inquiry chairman Heather Hallett has gratefully accepted £794,000 to lead the charge. No wonder they’re upset about all this being exposed…
