KaVontae Turpin, an All-Pro kick returner for the Dallas Cowboys, was placed under arrest Saturday over two misdemeanor charges, per online records. The Allen Police Department in Texas made the arrest.

In the dynamic kickoff’s first year, Turpin led the NFL in return average yards with a 33.5 tally, taking one for a 99-yard touchdown in a game taking on the Washington Commanders. Since the merger in 1970, Turpin has recorded the second-highest average in the National Football League. Turpin also has a punt return touchdown on his resume, placing himself as the only player in the NFL in the 2025 campaign with kick and punt return TDs.
