Paul Garner has a great gift for making science and Scripture come alive, both in his writing (see his much-commended The New Creationism) and speaking (hear his skilful co-hosting of the Let’s Talk Creation podcast). It was a great pleasure, then, to welcome him to Edinburgh in June for two creation-themed events.
On Friday night, 27 June, Paul spoke on ‘Creation and Evolution: The Challenge for the Church’ at Holyrood Evangelical Church. About 30 people gathered to hear him unpack why the recent creation of the world in six days and the global flood in the time of Noah are no ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ doctrines, but essential for understanding the gospel of Christ.
