A father raised eyebrows when he shared a purported bill from a breakfast at Disneyland.
The family of five went to the “Princess Breakfast” that included “a three-course breakfast priced at $142 per person (kids and adults), according to Fox Business. Guests also get to interact with Disney Princesses and participate in theme-related activities.
And it was likely all fun and giggles until dad got the bill, which he shared on X, showing a whopping $937.65.

While admittedly shocked, “dad” who goes by “John ‘Rock & Roll’ Tolkien, was a good sport about it.
Tbh the breakfast was good. Still – nine hundred fucking American dollars? pic.twitter.com/qUHZBcCqZ8

His post blew up X with plenty of people ripping Disney and speculating about the finances of the father. He appears to have a good sense of humor:
Hey I’m back guys. I had @gork write all these replies for me earlier because my Chipotle shift was about to start. Taking a cigarette break now and happy to answer any questions about the magic of Disney

Meanwhile, people had questions…
It was fun, the food was probably 7 / 10, service was attentive and enthusiastic, princesses were all trained pro actresses and spent a lot of time with the kids. I enjoyed it

I did not. I would have done it anyway even if I had known. Just sharing a little sticker shock!

There was plenty of criticism, too:
Ask yourself why you spent the money for it; everyone who opts to pay this kind of price for the service becomes a part of the problem: consumers willing to pay anything.
It’s not anywhere close to an essential item or experience.

We do the cruises sometimes and the kid’s tea on the cruise is several hundred dollars for some hot chocolate and sandwiches. I despise Disney.

The only reason such exorbitant prices exist (if this is even real) is because people accept them and hand over their money ♂️
Even if I was a millionaire (yes, with an m), out of principle and self respect, I would never pay that.

I feel this is disgusting. We as Americans work hard for our money just to get robbed. I really don’t understand this greed. We all deserve to enjoy the good things in life, not just work to pay the bills!

This is why my daughter continues to believe Disney is closed for COVID
