Well, that didn’t take long.
DNC co-vice chair David Hogg has irked the bigwigs within the organization by offering $20 million for Democrat primaries, and in return, he has been given an ultimatum.
Hogg defended his initiative to challenge “ineffective” incumbent Dems on CBS, arguing that “democracy is what put us through school shooter drills and school shootings.”

In response, DNC chair Ken Martin is seeking to switch-up the rules and wants to require DNC members to remain neutral in primaries. If the motion passes, Hogg will reportedly have to choose between his mission to primary Democrat incumbents or remain at his post in the DNC.
Hogg’s radical rhetoric has triggered the Democrat old guard like James Carville who called the young gun-grabbing activist “a contemptible little twerp” and floated suing Hogg.
“I don’t know if I have standing, but I might give the DNC $10 to sue him. He’s a contemptible little twerp if you ask me,” Carville said.

Hogg shot back saying, “currently, if we had the same number of 25- to 30-year-olds in Congress as we do proportionally to the population, we would have over 40 people under the age of 30 in Congress, and I don’t know if you’ve looked at Congress recently, we have one that is under the age of 30. That is not good for the future of the Democratic Party,” Hogg told CBS News.
Meanwhile, the DNC’s apparent plan to rid itself of Hogg sparked plenty of banter on X:
From what I’ve seen over the years, Democrats are good at “circular firing squads”. David Hogg happens to be a lightning rod and not much on moderation. Having said that, I don’t think it’s a good look for DNC leaders to be actively working against party candidates in the manner…

Hahaha this kid fails at everything and the commies won’t take him because he’s too white and male.
Just an incredible indictment of how low IQ the DNC is that they didn’t realize what a liability this kid is.— Infidel (@Oreallynow1) April 24, 2025
This should be the case. I don’t disagree with Hogg’s premise, but the officers of the party should be neutral in these intramural matches.

Bro gonna get fired from his first adult job.

Some suspect that he will leave on his own:
Spoiler alert, he’s gonna pick the PAC. He can make a lot more money there than at the DNC. He will say something like he’s choosing the PAC because he feels it is where he can have the greatest influence and contribute the most to the cause, but it is all about the Benjamins.

It almost always comes down to the “Benjamins.”
