Dem running in ultra-MAGA district comes out as a swinger

A loony Democrat who’s running for a Virginia House seat in an ultra-MAGA district has come out as a proud swinger in a move that’s almost guaranteed to ensure her electoral loss.

Yvonne Rorrer, a 47-year-old white woman, revealed on social media last weekend that she’s in an “ethically non-monogamous” marriage, meaning she and her husband are swingers.

Why would she admit this? Purportedly to get out ahead of any opposition research that might be conducted on her.

“In politics, people love to dig up the unexpected and spin it into a spectacle,” she explained in her social media post. “If you dare to step outside the box, they’ll try to use it to discredit you, distract you from the real issues, or divide the public.”

“I’m different. I don’t do shame, and I sure won’t give anyone else the opportunity to tell my story. I believe in speaking my truth on my own terms. Voters can handle honesty. In fact, I believe they crave it. So here it is,” she added.

She continued by first claiming that she loves her “amazing husband” of 22 years but then admitting that they’re swingers who have sexual relations with “other couples” and are part of a “growing community of like-minded people.”

Oh, but it gets worse. She went on to claim that this and other devious lifestyles are perfectly OK. She also tied her lifestyle choice to her supposed style of leadership.

“Love doesn’t look the same for everyone,” she began. “It’s a beautiful part of being human. Whether you’re monogamous, ethically non-monogamous, polyamorous, same-sex, open, exploring, or still figuring it all out, your relationship matters. You deserve dignity, not whispers. You deserve respect, not ridicule.”

“Consenting adults owe nobody an explanation of what they do together. At the core of our relationship are the same values I bring to leadership: respect, integrity, strength, and honesty. Unlike many traditional relationships that meet society’s checklist, but crumble behind closed doors, ours is thriving because we do the work,” she added.

Her stunning post attracted massive pushback, mockery, derision, and sometimes even insults from the majority of Americans who rightly look at such devious lifestyles with disdain.

“Open relationship” is the opposite of a relationship, thus the qualifier word “open”.
The same way a “trans woman” is really a “man”.

Meanwhile, Rorrer told HuffPost that even her four children are aware of her deviant lifestyle.

“This is not something that we have hidden from our adult children, our closest friends, the majority of our family members,” she said. “This has been our way of life for several years, and so it would have come out. And if it was going to come out, I would rather it be for me and in my own words.”

But the craziest thing about Rorrer’s candidacy is that she’s running in an ultra-MAGA district.

“Patrick County voted overwhelmingly in favor of President Donald Trump with an almost 80 percent majority,” according to The Independent. “The small county, with a population of less than 20,000, has traditionally voted Republican over the last decade.”

Her chances of winning are, based on this alone, extremely slim …
