Dems slammed for BIZARRE reaction to Cracker Barrel controversy

Cracker Barrel is experiencing massive backlash over its woke CEO’s implementation of sterile and soulless changes to the beloved southern institution.

Outrage from the political right, that’s long been fighting the hidden evils of political correctness, isn’t surprising, but open criticism of the ‘woke’ changes from California Governor Newsom’s camp seemed unlikely. Until recently, that is.

Newsom has been in a public battle with the Trump administration over issues of redistricting, mail-in voting, fire recovery, and everything in between. Through the heated discourse, an agonizingly inauthentic X account, ‘Governor Newsom Press Office’ has emerged using Trump-like rhetoric… to take on Trump!?

While the loud-mouthed account has been repeatedly called out for its pathetic and bizarre form of attack against the president, at least it was able to read the room when it came to the Cracker Barrel controversy and mistakenly managed to get something right.

Weird, right?

Perhaps weirder was a post from the Democrat Party that also denounced Cracker Barrel’s changes, which come from a CEO who embraces DEI and leftist policies.

Plenty of X users agreed that it’s hard to tell if pushback from the Newsom camp and Dems was meant to be sincere (because of timely politics, of course), or if it was meant to mock the right’s reaction.

Either way, it was a failure in the eyes of many who see through the childish shenanigans.

I find it ironic that in @GavinNewsom’s cheap attempt to mock Trump… he accidentally got the right take on this.

I’m confused. Am I supposed to agree with this or somehow be upset about it? The sad thing about this is that Newsom has to have people think of and do this for him. Does anyone doubt what Trump posts is actually coming from Trump? Democrats just lack authenticity.
