Actor Denzel Washington had a tense interaction with a photographer on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
Video shows a hand off-screen tugging on Washington’s arm, prompting him to turn toward the people snapping pictures. The actor was speaking to Spike Lee with rapper A$AP Rocky approaching him when the interruption happened. Once Washington identified the person who had pulled on him, he got right in the man’s face, pointing fingers and yelling something that can’t be heard on camera.

Despite the lecture, the man appears to grab onto Washington’s arm again as he goes to turn away. At this point, the actor can be seen saying “stop it” several times before finally walking away with a sour look on his face.
X users reacted to the seemingly justified outburst:
think he was about to equalize that guy

It’s obvious he didn’t want to be touched, yet he was touched again, and then the guy grabbed his arm to hold him in place. What was that?!

“Stop it (x3), don’t you ever put your hands on me like that again, you understand, stop (x4)”

That goofball clearly never watched a single Denzel movie in his life. Him nor any of his characters like to be touched pic.twitter.com/nB1v8WVSws
