A “deranged leftist” reportedly assaulted a Trump administration Health and Human Services (HHS) official during the U.N. General Assembly this Thursday in New York City.
“An HHS official was followed into a bathroom, recorded, physically assaulted and verbally accosted by a deranged leftist at the UN who somehow entered the venue past multiple layers of security,” White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly told Fox News.
“Thankfully, the official is safe, and the lunatic was arrested, but this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures by the UN after their sabotage of President Trump ahead of and during his speech,” she added.
NEW: Yesterday, a Trump administration official was assaulted by a deranged leftist at the UN.
This is part of a disturbing set of failures by the UN after their sabotage of President Trump.
The UN must answer for this pattern of concerning incidents.https://t.co/Tvx0mjSyhr

The official, a woman, recounted what happened to Fox News. She said she was walking down the hallway at the U.N. General Assembly when the left-wing nutter began berating and harassing her while shining a bright light in her face.
“It was very disorienting,” the unnamed HHS official said. “Once I took a step back and regained my footing, it didn’t stop. I realized what was happening. I realized I was being yelled at and that the light was also a recording device.”
She tried to back away from the person as they began yelling at her that she’s a “fascist” and “Nazi.” The nutter also reportedly made pro-Palestinian comments.
“The insults changed to specific insults,” the official said, adding that she slid into the women’s bathroom to get away, only for the left-wing nutter to chase after her and become even louder. “Her yelling turned into screaming—hyper-aggressive insults.”
Once in the bathroom, the official tried hiding in a stall, only for the nutter to try to enter it. Once the official closed the stall door, the left-wing harasser placed their camera over the door of the stall.
“The official waited for the screaming to stop, and exited the stall, hoping the woman had left, but the woman was waiting for her at the door, and continued to follow her into the hallway, continuing to yell at her and shine the light in her face,” Fox News notes.
Eventually, the official finally got away. She now says the whole affair lasted around 10 minutes.
“It felt very political in nature,” she said. “Secretary Kennedy gets a tremendous number of bows and arrows and threats that he deals with, but it seems that it’s not enough, and it is trickling down. That’s a scary thing for the team. But we’re more empowered, and we have amazing leadership.”
Kelly confirmed to Fox News that the Secret Service intends to investigate “how this violent protester was admitted into a major national security event.”
The harasser has been charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, though they were already released from custody by Friday.
The U.N. is now facing heat.
“The UN must answer why these highly concerning incidents continue to happen against the president and his staff,” Kelly said.
The U.N., for its part, has condemned the harassment.
“We are outraged that a member of the U.S. delegation was physically assaulted inside of UN Headquarters the afternoon of September 25,” a U.S. UN spokesperson told Fox News. “This attack must be addressed swiftly, and consequences must be felt.”
The public, meanwhile, is calling for consequences for both the perp and the U.N.
Can we just not participate in the UN anymore? We could turn the UN building into a massive TPUSA chapter.

Or, we should get the hell out of the UN. Should have happened long ago. They need US, we don’t need them. Hard stop!

Better yet evict the UN from New York prime real-estate. Move it to Iran or someplace more representative of the values it puts forward.

Kick them out of America, but retain our seat in the security council so we keep the veto power. Then watch the organization tear itself apart as they try to find a new location. Perhaps Trump can suggest they relocate to Gaza.
