The 2025 Met Gala delivered a parade of pathetic looks that unfortunately can’t be unseen.
The embarrassingly desperate looks took over Monday night as famous faces stepped out to the haute fashion event. This year’s theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and somehow that inspired singer André 3000 to strap a freaking piano to his back for his big night out. He strutted onto the red carpet, proudly flaunting his absurd outfit — practically begging trolls and critics to take a swipe.

The freak show continued when Demi Moore showed up looking like an actual tie in a strangely over-sculpted dress. The actress made it look like she was trying way too hard with this theme, and if attention is what she was seeking, she definitely got it- for all the wrong reasons.

Kim Kardashian kept the trainwreck going by demonstrating that no matter the theme, she remains hellbent on finding a trashy twist.
Kim Kardashian never fails to make a bold statement with her #MetGala fashion, and this year’s sleek Chrome Hearts ensemble is no exception. Read more about the look here: https://t.co/oFrIyspQzM pic.twitter.com/MwfI4iAdoN

Blackpink created a stir on the internet when she rolled into the Met Gala in her underwear. Upon closer examination, her weird undies seemed to have Rosa Park’s face stitched in. It doesn’t get more tone deaf than this. For those that suggest the image wasn’t meant to resemble Rosa Park -I still want to know how her stylist let her out walk a red carpet wearing panties that have any sort of face on them. On Monday, K-pop superstar Lisa wore a Louis Vuitton lace bodysuit under an embroidered jacket. The lace pattern appears to be a collage of different faces, including at least one that the internet thinks looks like Rosa Parks. https://t.co/qzOoikNQzV

Despite having endless resources and teams of people to help them assemble their looks, these stars were far from “Superfine,” and clearly messed up the assignment.
