Conservative Californians are planning a peaceful gathering at Disneyland Park on a date that coincides with a “Gay Days” celebration.
The group 805 Patriots posted a release on social media regarding their intent to organize a “peaceful, family-oriented” Patriots in the Park meetup, which just so happens to coincide with “another unrelated event” in the same location.

“American Patriots & Conservatives will come together for a peaceful, family-oriented meetup at Disneyland Park. This event will take place February 28, 2026, for a day celebrating in the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ with like-minded people that support our President & Great Nation. The event invites Americans to enjoy a day at the park while celebrating patriotism, community, and traditional American values, while appreciating the traditional principles that inspired Walt Disney during the creation of the park,” the release reads.
“This meetup is strictly recreational. It is NOT a march, protest, demonstration, or political action. Attendees will enter the park as everyday guests and are expected to follow all Disneyland guidelines,” the group stresses. “Signs, flags, and any form of disruptive conduct are prohibited. Support for American values and the President may be shown only through attire permitted by Disneyland, such as hats, shirts, and accessories.”
It was also pointed out that the group will act as any other group of guests in the park and enjoy the facilities, without seeking any “special status” or treatment.
“The 805 Patriots emphasize that their group intends to participate in the park in the same manner as any other unaffiliated guests or gatherings that visit Disneyland. The goal is simply to enjoy the day, move throughout the park as regular visitors, and experience the attractions without drawing unnecessary attention or creating disruptions. The group holds no special status, seeks no special treatment, and expects to follow the same guidelines and expectations as all other guests who choose to enjoy the park on that day.”
Near the end of the release, the “Gay Days” celebration is recognized, but the group refers to the meeting in vague terms.
“The 805 Patriots also note that another unrelated event is scheduled at Disneyland on the same date. This overlap is coincidental, and both groups intend to enjoy the park without interference,” they explain.
Gay Days Anaheim will also be hosting a gathering at the same location on the same day.
As the Daily Mail reported, members of the LGBT group criticized the timing of the conservative event:
‘First, it was not an accident that they selected that weekend….they purposely picked that weekend to co-inside with Gay Day. Second, Disney staff will quickly throw out anyone who is causing a disruption with a possible lifetime ban,’ one wrote.
‘Their goal is to trigger you all and ruin your day…just imagine how angry and triggered they will become when all you do is show them love. Remember to not feed the trolls,’ another said.
