DOJ strike force assembled to assess Russiagate evidence

The Department of Justice announced that a Strike Force has been formed to “investigate potential next legal steps” after bombshell evidence was released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

The special unit will be assessing the evidence involving former President Obama and his top national security and intelligence officials in the Russia collusion hoax against President Donald Trump.

“This Department takes alleged weaponization of the intelligence community with the utmost seriousness,” a DOJ press release read.

“The Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard, and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people. We will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement.

Gabbard delivered “overwhelming evidence” in the declassified documents, saying Obama and his officials “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to suggest Russia tried to influence the 2016 presidential election, despite there being no evidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin was working to get Trump elected.

Gabbard, who sent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice,  said there were “deep state obstacles” to the investigation, and she was glad the strike force was being formed.

“There are a lot of deep state actors still here within Washington. President Trump wants us to find the truth,” she said on “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Wednesday.

“I want to find that truth. The American people deserve the truth, and they deserve accountability, which is why I’m really glad to see that Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice announced the creation of a strike force team today,” she said. “Specifically, to get after all the intelligence and evidence that we have gathered. We have more coming, and to determine the path forward to bring about that accountability.”

The DOJ’s announcement was welcome news on social media.
