A shocking video shows a mother trying to break the news of a celebrity engagement to her children, only to reveal their political brainwashing.
The woman in the video is identified by The Daily Mail as Krista Cole, a substitute teacher at a Colorado Springs public school, and last month she filmed herself telling her daughters she has the “best news ever.” They excitedly respond by saying, “Donald Trump died.”
Watch:
The mom chuckles, then says, “Second best news.”
“The vice president died,” the kids answer.
“Third best news,” the mother says, leading the kids on.
“Elon Musk died,” the kids unbelievably respond.
The mom finally reveals the engagement of popstar Taylor Swift (who Cole described as her “best friend”) and footballer Travis Kelce, but at this point, a rational viewer would be incredibly shocked by the sheer number of people the girls would be excited about dying. Children are typically either saddened by death or don’t fully grasp its magnitude, so it’s incredibly bizarre that they express so much glee at the thought.
This video received renewed criticism following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, and the teacher has been suspended as the school conducts an investigation.
“When there is a concern that an employee may have violated a district policy in an egregious manner, it is our practice to place them on administrative leave while we conduct a thorough review,” a spokesperson told DM. “This matter is being addressed administratively, and we cannot comment further on personnel issues. What we can say is that there is no safety threat to Chipeta Elementary, and our focus remains on providing a safe, supportive learning environment for our students.”
Cole is reportedly married to Colorado National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Adam Cole, adding another layer of complication to the backlash.

If I had told my boys when they were this age that I had the best news ever, they would have said something like, ‘We’re going on vacation!’ or ‘We’re going to a football game!’ I can’t imagine what’s being said in that house if their first response is that Donald Trump died.

How empty is your life when a wealthy celebrity getting engaged is major enough to tell your kids.

Our society is possibly beyond repair, all morality has been lost, common decency is rare. These people are truly evil and hateful individuals
