Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley spent time with President Donald Trump at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Sunday, one day before the Eagles’ scheduled visit to the White House, as reported by The New York Post.
A photo circulating on social media showed Barkley seated next to President Trump at a table decorated with multiple “Make America Great Again” hats. Barkley also reportedly flew back to Washington with President Trump following their meeting.

Trump’s Sovereign Wealth Fund: What Could It Mean For Your Money?
Barkley’s appearance with Trump comes days after Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts declined to answer a question about whether he would attend the White House visit to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl championship.
During an interview Thursday night at the 2025 TIME100 Gala in New York City, Hurts was asked if he planned to join the team at the White House. He responded with a hesitant “Um,” looked around, and did not provide an answer before the interview concluded.

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year
A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital in early March that the Eagles had received an invitation and “enthusiastically accepted” the opportunity to visit.
This year’s visit marks a notable change from 2018, when the Eagles declined to attend after their first Super Bowl win. That year, President Trump rescinded the invitation after several players indicated they would not participate due to Trump’s criticisms of national anthem protests.
Eagles team owner Jeffrey Lurie recently emphasized the importance of the tradition, calling it a “time-honored tradition” that the team was looking forward to participating in.

Earlier this month, Barkley also attended the J.P. Morgan Tech 100 Summit, where he spent time with Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, their son Theodore, and Jared’s brother Joshua Kushner.
Barkley posted about the event on X, writing, “Had an amazing time at the J.P. Morgan Tech 100 Summit! Want to give a shoutout to Madhu for having me out. Want to also give a shoutout to everyone who made it amazing.”

Meanwhile, Hurts has previously made headlines with his comments regarding Trump’s activities, including during Trump’s recent visit to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.
The Eagles’ official visit to the White House is scheduled for Monday.
