Government departments have so far refused to say they will change their practices. They said they would follow updated guidance – here it is…

The guidance will come across Bridget Phillipson’s desk by the end of August according to the Times. Not all public-service provider venues will have to have single-sex spaces but those that do will be told to exclude transgender women. It won’t be discriminatory to ask for a birth certificate.
