Eight Bigfoot Sightings Rock Ohio in Just 5 Days [WATCH]

Reports of possible Bigfoot sightings in Ohio have grown to eight separate incidents over a five-day span between March 6 and March 10, according to information compiled by the Bigfoot Society.

The organization said the series of reports began earlier in the week, with the first six sightings drawing widespread attention online before two additional reports were logged Wednesday evening.

According to the Bigfoot Society, the sightings have been described as “high-credibility” reports submitted by witnesses who claim to have encountered a large unidentified creature in different parts of the state.

The seventh reported sighting occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on March 9.

According to the account provided to investigators, a mother and daughter were driving along Route 303 when they encountered what they described as a large unidentified figure standing near the roadway.

The witnesses said they came extremely close to the figure while driving.

According to the report, they came within about three feet of the creature as their vehicle passed it.

The witnesses described the figure as approximately six-and-a-half feet tall and brown in color.

They said the creature had a “blurred face” and moved with what they described as a “stilt gait.”

The report also stated that the passenger in the vehicle “could have hit it” as they drove past due to how close the vehicle came to the figure.

The eighth reported sighting took place the following day at approximately 10:30 a.m. near Lake Milton, Ohio.

According to the report, a resident at a private home said she observed a creature standing outside her window.

The witness described the figure as a dark reddish-brown creature approximately seven feet tall.

The witness said she watched the creature for about 30 seconds from inside her home before it moved away.

According to the report submitted to the Bigfoot Society, the creature leaned forward as it ran and disappeared quickly near a nearby pond.

The witness stated that the figure moved with unusual speed before vanishing from view.

She also told investigators that the animal she observed did not resemble a deer or a black bear.

The series of sightings has drawn attention from researchers who study reports of Sasquatch or Bigfoot sightings across the United States.

Jeremiah Byron of the Bigfoot Society discussed the recent Ohio sightings during an appearance on a Bigfoot-themed YouTube program on Wednesday night.

During the discussion, Byron said he has been sorting through numerous messages and reports related to the sightings, including submissions that investigators believe are not credible.

He said some of the reports being submitted include altered images, trolling attempts, and fabricated claims.

According to Byron, he has partnered with researchers connected to the Ohio Squatch Project to examine the sightings more closely.

The collaboration means investigators are now traveling to the areas where the sightings occurred in order to conduct interviews and search for evidence.

Byron said the effort includes speaking directly with witnesses and documenting the locations connected to the reports.

Investigators involved in the effort have begun conducting in-person interviews with individuals who submitted reports to the Bigfoot Society.

Researchers are also examining the areas where sightings were reported to determine whether any physical evidence can be found.

Those involved in the investigation say the lack of photographs or video recordings does not necessarily rule out the possibility of a legitimate sighting.

Instead, investigators say the focus will be on verifying witness accounts and examining the physical locations connected to the sightings.

With eight reports filed within a five-day period, the Ohio sightings have become the latest example of what researchers sometimes describe as a “Bigfoot flap,” a term used when multiple reports are made in a concentrated time frame within the same region.

The Bigfoot Society said its investigation into the Ohio sightings is ongoing as researchers continue reviewing witness statements and examining the reported locations.
