Elon Musk comes out with praise for Trump after POTUS threatened to DOGE him

Regardless of the personal differences with President Donald Trump, Elon Musk knows how to celebrate the important wins.

Musk posted a message to X giving Trump credit for the massive success he has had negotiating peace and ensuring Iran no longer has easy access to its nuclear facility.

“Credit where credit is due. [Trump] has successfully resolved several serious conflicts around the world,” Musk wrote, sharing a Truth Social post from Trump.

“My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War. The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal. I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” reads the president’s post.

This comes after another spat between the two in which the president implied he hadn’t ruled out deportation for Musk.

“Are you going to deport Elon Musk?” Trump was asked.

“I don’t know. I mean, we’ll have to take a look. We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that– it might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn’t that be terrible?” he answered.

In another Truth Social post on Monday, Trump noted that Musk had received “more subsidy than any human being in history.”

“Elon Musk knew, long before he so strongly Endorsed me for President, that I was strongly against the EV Mandate. It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one. Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa. No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!” Trump posted.
