Failed 2024 election brought Biden, Harris and Obama to ‘all hate each other’: book

An inside scoop on the 2024 presidential election spoke to the power struggle that seemingly brought Biden, Harris and Obama to “all hate each other.”

For some, the Democratic Party’s love fest over an alleged human trafficker and insistence on prostrating themselves to gender ideology, while Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) and Jasmine Crockett (Texas) were paraded across the country was proof enough that theirs was a ship without a rudder.

Now, according to an excerpt from the Jonathan Allen of NBC News & The Hill’s Amie Parnes book, “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” it appeared that not only had the 2024 presidential election proven to be a losing proposition for months ahead of the November vote, but that each of then-President Joe Biden’s, former President Barack Obama’s and then-Vice President Kamala Harris’ own self-interests had engendered hate for one another.

“Even Barack Obama, who had twice won the presidency, misfired badly. He subscribed to a magical hypotheses that Democrats could oust Biden, hold a speed-dating primary, and nominate someone other than Harris,” read one excerpt shared by the account Nightmare Vision under the caption, “so obama thought he could oust harris while she was best positioned to become the nominee, biden thought he could win even though he was losing prior to the debate, and harris thought she needed more time even though time was making it worse. and now they all hate each other.”

The excerpt continued, “He tried to make that happen even as she was locking down the delegates she needed. Obama usually wanted to float above the fray, taking credit and avoiding blame whenever possible. That didn’t work either.”

Allen and Parnes, who’d also brought up California Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D) involvement in putting a thumb on the scale, went on to cite an insider who’d worked for both Biden and Obama who called their relationship “irreparable” as a donor said, “Their relationship will never be the same.”

“He thought he had been done dirty. By Pelosi. By Obama. By donors. And even by Kamala Harris, the vice president who showed him nothing but loyalty and deference at her own expense,” they wrote of Biden. “‘She was a better friend to him than he was to her,’ one Harris adviser observed. One Biden friend said the anger toward Harris came more from the first lady than the president, who was not deployed as a campaign surrogate in the way his family would have liked. ‘She’s really bitter at Harris,’ the friend said.”

On top of that, a Biden confidant was quoted as saying of the ousted 2024 candidate after the election, “He firmly believes that he could have won, which is the most absurd f*cking thing I’ve ever heard in modern politics.’ In the end, Biden was, in fact, a bridge–from one Trump term to the next.”

In addition to calling out how nasty the politics had gotten within the Democratic Party, reactions decried corporate media for, in the most gracious terms, lacking curiosity about the machinations taking place amid feigned surprise over Biden’s bombed June debate against then-former President Donald Trump.
