Florida man strikes again!
This time, he’s catching Burmese pythons that brought him a solid payday, collecting a total of 87 of the invasive species for a cash prize of $1,000 via an incentive system in the state. (RELATED: Insane Video Shows Alligator Chomping Down Huge Burmese Python In Everglades)
Meet Aaron Mann, who saw his pockets get fatter thanks to the Python Elimination Program from the South Florida Water Management District. The program gives an incentive to Florida citizens to catch and kill as many of the snakes as possible, and for doing so, they’ll receive a nice stack of cash. Mann did just that by tallying 87 pythons in a single month.
The cash prize is awarded to the individual who catches the most snakes that particular month, and Mann came in at the No. 1 spot with his incredible number. His hunting was so impressive that it’s being compared to what happened at the annual Florida Python Challenge, which saw multiple competitors rack up 200 pythons, doing so in only 10 days.

What’s incredible to me is how many Burmese pythons are in the Everglades. Like, damn, I knew it was a problem, but it’s crazy that I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds and hundreds … and hundreds … of these things caught, and there’s still a crap load of them left.
The Glades need a serious cleanup, and I’d like to thank the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Python Challenge for playing their part.
