Former Bravo Star Charged After Violent Assault Using a Rock-Filled Sock in Tennessee Walmart [WATCH]

Diamond Tankard, known for her appearance on Bravo’s reality show Thicker Than Water, has been arrested in Tennessee following a violent assault at a Walmart in Antioch, a neighborhood just southeast of Nashville, as reported by The New York Post.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by USA Today, the 21-year-old Tankard approached a woman from behind in the self-checkout lane, grabbed her by the hair, and struck her repeatedly before pulling out a sock reportedly filled with rocks.

Security footage, as well as bystander video, captured the incident.

Dressed in a pink shirt and camouflage pants, Tankard is seen yanking the woman’s hair and landing multiple punches before striking the victim in the face with the striped sock.

The victim’s grandmother told police the blows caused a severe gash above the woman’s left eye. Emergency medical services were called, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for stitches.

Tankard also allegedly stole the victim’s iPhone 14, valued at $1,500, and a Louis Vuitton handbag worth approximately $900. After the attack, Tankard was seen picking items up from the floor before fleeing the scene.

Walmart provided surveillance footage to Nashville police, confirming the events as described by the victim and her grandmother.

Tankard, who appeared to be wearing an ankle monitor during the incident, was arrested shortly after and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of property.

She was booked into the Davidson County Jail and released Saturday on a $25,000 bond. A court hearing is scheduled for August 22.

This is not Tankard’s first run-in with law enforcement. In December 2023, she was charged with attempted first-degree murder after allegedly hitting a woman with her Range Rover.

That incident occurred after a dispute outside a bar in Nashville. According to police reports, Tankard initiated a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation.

She then reportedly entered her vehicle, accelerated, and struck the woman before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered critical injuries.

At the time, Tankard was already under electronic monitoring for a separate domestic assault-related arrest. She was later released on a $1,002,000 bond related to the attempted murder case.

Tankard is the granddaughter of former NBA player and gospel-jazz music producer Ben Tankard. She appeared in all 27 episodes of Bravo’s Thicker Than Water, which aired from 2013 to 2016 and followed the lives of the Tankard family in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Tankard has not commented on the charges, and representatives for her grandfather have not responded to requests for comment.
