Former NFL Star Vernon Davis Allegedly Assaults Woman During Abortion Argument: REPORT

Vernon Davis, a former star tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, faces allegations of assaulting a woman during an abortion argument, doing so by allegedly hurling books and magazines at her.

The incident reportedly occurred in 2025. A criminal complaint filed Jan. 8 details claims from a woman who was in a relationship with Davis. She alleges that, while at his home May 31, the two argued about her pregnancy, according to TMZ Sports.

It’s claimed by the woman that Davis then started “hitting me w/ magazines + books from under his TV” and made an offer of $10,000 for her to get an abortion. She also alleges that the assault only stopped when she took out her phone to record him. The alleged altercation between Davis and the woman reportedly wasn’t the only one.

One week after the alleged book-throwing altercation, the woman makes the claim that Davis slapped her on the face following her accusing him of lying. She alleges he issued a warning, saying “not to question him.”

The accuser also claims that she has an audio recording from later that night in which Davis reportedly said, “If I really slapped you, your face would be blue/black.”

Also, the woman alleges an additional physical encounter with Davis that took place prior to the argument May 31 regarding abortion allegedly left clear signs of trauma.

An arrest warrant for Davis was issued Jan. 8 on charges of assault and battery. He is scheduled to appear in court in Feb.

Davis enjoyed a 14-year NFL career with the 49ers, Denver Broncos, and then-Washington Redskins. He finished with 7,562 receiving yards (583 receptions) and 63 touchdowns.
