Former Nickelodeon Star Tylor Chase Back On The Streets, Friend Says

Former “Ned’s Declassified” star Tylor Chase is back on the streets despite what appeared to be a strong start at rehab, according to his friend and fellow actor.

“Mighty Ducks” star and concerned friend Shaun Weiss told TMZ that a crisis team put Chase on a 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold but then let the former child star go.

“They were supposed to hold him and then transport him to a detox facility that we had arranged. Instead, they let him out without contacting any of us,” Weiss told the outlet.

Weiss told TMZ that businessman Jacob Harris, a major advocate for Chase, found the former child star on the street in Riverside, California, late at night over the holidays and called the crisis team to assist again. Weiss said they assessed him to be a danger to himself.

He alleged that Chase was “smoking meth during the evaluation with no shoes or jacket in the freezing cold” but was left on the street.

Some concerned fans have given money to Chase, but that has had a negative impact on his recovery, according to the “Mighty Ducks” actor.

Weiss said he’s not sure how else to help Chase through his ongoing struggles, according to TMZ. He has reached out to Screen Actors Guild executive members to potentially get the help of a political representative.

Weiss has a relationship with a rehab facility named Eleven 11 Recovery in San Clemente, California. He told TMZ previously that he has a bed available for Chase and wants him to reap the benefits of the assistance the facility has to offer. However, Chase would have to agree to attend on his own accord.
