Former world series champion calls out AOC for her statement on Boulder terrorist

Former Major League Baseball star Kevin Youkilis reality-checked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her Boulder attack “virtue signaling.”

Following the news of the horrifying attack on pro-Israel protesters in Boulder, Colorado, AOC took to X to give the most lukewarm statement she could.

Look:

“I am horrified by last night’s horrific attack in Boulder. My heart is with the victims and our Jewish communities across the country. Antisemitism is on the rise here at home, and we have a moral responsibility to confront and stop it everywhere it exists,” she wrote, her sentiments noticeably lacking any kind of passion or righteous anger.

Youkilis, known for playing with both the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, was not pleased by the lawmaker’s response.

“Jews are targeted with violence and it’s the same virtue signal post time and time again. What have you done to confront those calling for intifadas in NYC? Until you create a plan of action, your repeated virtue signaling after the violence occurs holds no weight,” he replied.

One user asked Youkilis what he wanted AOC to do, the World Series champ advised he “confront” the mobs in her state.

“Confront the radical mobs chanting for intifadas in NYC. That would be brave leadership but we know politicians, on both sides of the aisle, shy away in fear of losing votes and power,” he explained.

Other X users celebrated Youkilis’s responses:
